Situated along the Northwest River in Southeastern Chesapeake, VA, the 763-acre Northwest River park offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Boating, fishing, hiking, and various programs are available year-round. Tazewell Contracting is currently constructing a facility that will serve as both a ranger station and activity center, complete with an outdoor deck area. The project will include installing a new waterline connection, an onsite lift station and septic tank, micro-bioretention facilities for storm water management, rehabilitating the existing dry fire hydrant, and adding paving, parking, and pedestrian pathways.
