For each project, Tazewell Contracting implements their time tested, safety program which includes a written safety manual that fully incorporates the Army Corps Engineers EM385 Safety Manual, all OSHA regulations applicable to construction, and all applicable Navy regulations and guidelines. Below are defined steps that we incorporate in each project to ensure the safety of all. Safety will continue to be the number one Core Value of Tazewell Contracting. Safety is more than a business priority; it is a moral imperative that we follow without fail.

Safety is the utmost core value of Tazewell Contracting. Tazewell begins each project with a thorough prescreening of each subcontractor wishing to participate on projects. We ensure all superintendents, Site Safety and Health Officers, subcontractors, and anyone listed on the job site are trained on the current safety standards through OSHA 30 and Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
